Before we left, the customer got a photo log of every adjustment and a written record of the part number installed, same as we do on every job under Clause 4.
BFT Deimos BT A400 - Control Panel Water Damage & Conduit Reroute in Fremont’s Niles District
Intermittent operation after rain, getting worse each winter. The control panel sat in a low spot where the Niles hillside drainage pooled, and the original installer had run the conduit with the couplings facing up. Water followed the cable inside and corroded the terminal block. We relocated the panel eighteen inches higher on a new strut channel, reran the conduit with proper drip loops and downward-facing couplings, and swapped in a replacement BFT control unit.
